About Me

I didn't come to operations from a textbook. I came to it from five office locations, one shared EHR system, and a staff that needed a schedule by Friday.

I'm Brian Little, founder of Briar Creek Solutions. For fifteen years I've worked in healthcare practices, specifically eyecare — first in marketing, then practice management, then as an administrator overseeing multi-site ophthalmology groups, and most recently as a contracted Chief Operating Officer. Along the way I've built staffing models from scratch, rebuilt referral pipelines that had quietly stalled, went through the diligence process for a private equity acquisition, recruited providers and staff, opened and closed practice locations...and lived to tell about it!

What I bring to a consulting engagement isn't theory — it's a working knowledge of what breaks in a practice, in what order, and what actually fixes it versus what just looks like it does on a slide.
